"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "

"It was just ok. Reserved a king and was given a room with 2 queens. Switched to a king that had some minor issues. Blackout curtain on one side would not close, bathroom door was off track but i fixed. Ordered food and it was not good. Front desk personal was pleasant and apologetic for the minor hiccups. "

"Stay was ok The TV remote didn't work but was promptly given another one. Next morning went to make coffee in room, there was coffee but not a single cup to be found. Had to go downstairs to get a few cups "

"Cleaning staff and front dest was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, i came when the pool was closed. The breakfast was ok not great and when we needed our door yo be opened while we were away so someone could pick up the oxygen tanks my sister had needed, the front desk would not let him in without a hassle. Eventually this was taken care of. That was most unfortunate. "

"The stay was nice. The house was perfectly located for my visit with family that lives local. It was easy to find. We may visit again when we can spend some time on the lake. It was too cold to truly enjoy all that is available there. "
