"Parking is not so bad. We paid to park at a nearby parking lot, I think for each night it was like 12 dollars. The Snug Townhouse is right in the middle of action. You're in a nice part of Galway, and everything is right there for you to access. The staff was great, check in was very fast and easy. The rooms were delightful and the water pressure first class. So, yeah, if you're okay parking a few minutes away, I say the benefits of the property's location is worth it. "

When our Valentines evening stay canceled on us, they managed to keep us in our same room for an additional night. "The location can't be beat. It is literally on Eyre Square in the heart of Galway, right next to 10 Euro a day carpark and 2 minute walk from the Train station. The breakfast was huge and tasty. I will definitely return. The part that stood out was the customer service! From reception to the dining room to the cleaning staff everyone was so nice and went above and beyond the usual. They didn't just help. They took the time to chat and offer advice. It was so welcoming. WELL DONE TO ALL!"

"Very happy with our stay in Abbeygate Townhouse. The rooms were spotless and fresh. In an excellent location we were only a 5-7 min walk from eyre square. Although this hotel is self check in it is very easy to carry out and when there was a problem with the key card machine there was a lovely man there within 10 minutes who helped us and was very friendly and professional.
