"An excellent stay in a good property, in an ideal location for Dogs Bay. We were disappointed that the garden shrubs screened the view of the bay. We were unable to make the heating system work ideally for us. We would have appreciated a change of bed linen during our 3 week stay. In all other respects a lovely property which we enjoyed greatly."

"Three adults and two kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The rooms were nice and clean, and the kitchen was equipped with essentials. The cottage served as a nice home base while exploring Co. Clare. Phyllis is an outstanding host. She was there to greet us on arrival, and made sure we were well taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in the cottage again."

"The house was so beautiful and comfortable. We were transfixed by the views and loved having a fire at night and early morning. The owner left lovely treats for us (salmon, crackers, cheese, eggs, and milk that was unexpected but really appreciated. Location could not be better. I hope we can return some day. "

"The cottage is located in an area where you can discover many beautiful areas by car. The cottage has all the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The upper floor is locked. It is a bit damp so bring your thick socks. Electricity was a bit of a hassle for us but there was 2 euro coins provided for us to use in the meter. "Aran View Country House was the perfect venue for 18 of us (!) (including the back house) to celebrate our Irish heritage with our father. The in-house "pub" was a perfect gathering place in the evenings, as was the pool room. Industrial kitchen was amazing, as was the dining room. Rooms were super comfy, all of which had their own bath. Location was also perfect for biking and hiking trips to the Aran Islands, the Burren, and Cliffs of Moher, and Doolin close by for some dinners and pub nights...
