It's secluded enough where you can leave the world behind if you want to, but there is plenty do eat and do within a short drive. There is a fabulous bakery and also an amazing restaurant within a few minutes drive. The property owners and hosts, Jose and Christine, are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They were always available to answer every silly question I had, and were invaluable...

"Beautiful home set in the hills with no visual neighbours. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Big covered veranda, big rooms help make this a great family home. It has no A/C but it really wasn't needed due to its location and lots of surrounding trees. The hot water is on and off a bit but it was warm. The host is very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Just loved it."

"The house is in a residential part of La Parguera, about a 15 min [not very picaresque] walk from main drag. It’s a quiet, very clean, spacious home, and the owner is friendly and helpful. Only complaint we had was the check in process- not sure if the error was on part of owner or VRBO, but apparently there was some confusion on owner’s part about check in date or something. Anyway, we did not get communications from owner, including access instructions, until after we had to contact him...

"This is a wonderful little house on top of a hill. The view is breathtaking. It's a curvy road to get here but it's definitely worth it. We cooked dinner in the spacious kitchen (for such a small house) looking out at the mountains. The appliances are modern and functional. The place is modern, well decorated and relaxing. The deck is a nice place to sit and read a book. There is a fire pit and wood was provided. We relaxed for a few hours in the hot tub and cooked some steak in the gas grill....
