"I'm unable to completely answer the survey, because due to no fault of the staff at the hotel there was a major power outage in the area from Ice storm. However I'm just going to give a shout out to the staff, under this very devastating and difficult condition and they were clearly stressed to their maximum, they maintained a positive attitude and use the system to make sure that customers were treated fairly. When we were cold at night, they walked up five flights of stairs to bring us extra blankets. Well it was hard to see completely, we were able to see that the hotel was very clean and we were very happy to have a safe place to stay during this epic ice storm in Northern michigan."

"The staff at Petoskey, Michigan, Days Inn were remarkably cheerful and helpful. Though the entire region was experiencing a power outage during the late March ice storm, the staff continued to operate with patience and helpfulness and good humor. They offered unlimited comforters, small battery operated lights. They charged our cell phones with a large power pack. The manager's husband agreed to pick up a grocery item for me without expecting a tip. Later, he agreed to take my sister and myself to shop at the local grocery store, again, not expecting compensation. All staff were pleasant throughout our stay. "

"I’ve driven by with my family hundreds of times and always wondered what it was like inside and got the opportunity to see during a short ski trip. The hotel is a 140 year old gem that has an extremely friendly staff. I’ll be back again for sure. "

"Excellent stay. The cabin is close to town and our family who live off East Lake St. Very convenient location and beautiful in the wintertime. Very cozy cabin. Highly recommend if you want to stay close to town. "

"Since I’m visiting near post snow season, parking is easy and the resort is not crowded. Hard to find dining options apart from the cafe and restaurant in the lodge. You have to drive 30mins to Petoskey or Boyne city to eat. Hotel room is clean but old. And the staff are nice on cleaning the room. It’s not far to walk to the lift especially they have lift-side ski valet for free to securely keep your equipment."

"Very nice check-in staff. Spacious, clean comfortable room and beds. Wonderful swimming pool and hot tub. Close to historical downtown. A great breakfast that is available early at 6:30 for us early risers. Coffee in room and available 24/7 in lobby. We love staying at Apple Tree Inn when we visit Petoskey ."
