"My wife and sons and I stayed here and used it as a base of operations for day trips (Mackinac Island, St. Ignace, Cheboygan). It was great! Homey and comfortable. The fire pit was great, the host provided firewood (plus there’s tons to be gathered in the nearby woods). Kitchen was very nicely equipped for a northern Michigan cabin, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. Lastly, it was nice watching the deer eat from the fruit trees on the other side of the road. Would recommend!"

"The house was very clean and the check in process was easy. The owners of the house even reached out to us that we could check in early because of a winter storm getting ready to hit the area so we were able to get on the road earlier in the day. That right there should tell you alot about who you are renting the house from. I give the house 5 stars and will be returning in the near future! O and the view from the deck is amazing looking over the Indian River where we saw numerous bald eagles...

"This place was awesome and had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay: cooking space and utensils, access to the lake, space for the kids, plenty of towels, Internet and tv, a kayak, a dock onto the lake, a porch swing… The fire pit and the sunset lake views made it extra magical. The only downside was the lack of ventilation/cooled air to the second story where most of the beds were. A big thank you to Jimmy for hosting us here and we are looking forward to our next planned stay...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Kelly & Adam’s place. We dealt mostly with Adam while on our trip and he was great to deal with. We were a bit let down that we weren’t able to get in at the scheduled time as the cleaners were running behind (1 hour past check in), but once we got in the house was impeccably clean (worth the wait)! Beds were comfortable, showers/tubs clean and had plenty of hot water, and overall space was exactly what our large party needed. The kids enjoyed the fire pit and...
