Your choice to stay with us not only adds value to your experience but also makes a meaningful impact on the lives of those less fortunate.
**Pet Policy for Vacation Rental**
To bring your pet(s), guest(s) must agree to the following terms:
Because we have other guests who are allergic to pets, we require that your pet(s) stay in the pet-friendly space of the large porch. Pets are prohibited in the living area which includes the bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and indoor bathroom. However, the great news is we have created a pet-friendly space for your vacation with our large screened-in front porch with a large picture window, looking into the cabin. The porch also has a door that allows you to close off the cabin to your pet but enables you to allow it to be open and still restrict your pet from entering. This way, your pet can still see you without going into the living area. The addition of any other pet is prohibited without prior approval. You are solely responsible for any damage or personal injury caused by your pet.
In addition:
- Clean up after your dog, especially in the rental, yard, and beach areas of the property.
- Do not allow your dog to bark excessively or roam onto neighboring properties.
- Groom your pet prior to their stay, particularly if it is a breed prone to shedding. Pet hair can be difficult to remove, and the next renter in your property may not have a pet. Extra cleaning fees will be charged for furniture, blankets, comforters, etc. that have pet hair left behind.
- Don’t leave your pet unattended for long periods of time. A crate is ideal for those situations in which you must leave.
- Don’t allow your pet to enter if it is wet, especially after just swimming in the lake.
- Ensure that your pet’s medications and immunizations are up-to-date prior to your stay, especially flea treatment.
- Don’t allow your pet to harm or chase wildlife.
- Follow all laws regarding your pet.
Thank you for your cooperation, and we hope you and your pet enjoy your stay!
