"Older single friends wanting a change from the usual Christmas aloneness!!We had some lovely long walks & bought fresh seafood from Ilfracombe for Christmas lunch which we enjoyed in the garden room with a wonderful view of Lee Bay!The village pub was perfect for early drinks & the odd meal. Local people extremely friendly. Will definitely come again sometime."

"We travel to North Devon every year and normally stay in Woolacombe. However, this year we went with another family and this collage was perfect for us all. We did have a hiccup at the start which was completely out of the host's control and Mark was absolutley brilliant in sorting us out. The accommodation is lovely and Mark is very attentive. "Was a lovely snug cottage. Great for local walks to Ilfracombe. We have a very well behaved dog and pubs where dog friendly and some of the cafes too . We really enjoyed the environment .Would definitely love to stay again will not forget bath towels ! Was lovely to get away the garage with electric door was great "

"It was a lovely self- contained property for one or two people. I think it would feel crowded for any more. The hosts even bought a new TV when i couldn't watch the Olympics on the old one. The games room was great but if I hadn't known the people in the cottage next door, I don't know how i would have gained access. It was a lovely peaceful stay with everything I needed and very kind, helpful hosts. "

"This is really a jewell of a find. The lodge is big and airy and has plenty of space. The bedrooms are a really nice size. Two contain small double beds and one has two singles. My husband and and I have a super king bed at home so we just used the two doubles rather than fight with each other over space. It was a. dry cold weekend but the lodge is very well heated. I totally agree with earlier posts about locating the lodge. it’s really tricky and took us nearly an hour to find. So, for those...
