"We loved our stay at Piece Hostel Kyoto - the staff a helpful and friendly, the decor of the common area / kitchen is amazing and there are were brilliant facilities - lots of cooking utensils and we were so impressed with the coffee beans, hand grinders and v60s!! The rooms are basic but with a huge super comfy double bed, we had no issues with noise but free earplugs were provided, 10/10!"

"We had a family of 4 stay in a room with a double bunk bed and it had a small table in the room. Each bed had outlets close by and adequate space. Clothes hanging rack was nice to hang rain coats to dry off. 2nd floor common eating area was nice to have a place to eat and store food. Small market across the street for easy access for purchases. "It was hard to get a goodnight sleep, people were very loud which at this point I had stayed in four hotels traveling all around Japan, besides that there were no amenities included which every other hotel offered. I had to pay 200 yen for just a towel. It’s located in a nice area. And I wouldn’t had minded the charge of amenities since I had my own, but the noice, people were not respectful at all and there was noice all night. Overall it’s a good place to stay if you just want a place to leave...

"We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very nice. We had a couple of issues with the room but they fixed them quickly. We are a family of 4 and found the bed space ok but it would've been better to have a bunk bed instead of the 2 singles because one of the singles had to be used as seating for the dining table.
