"Perfect stay at Funplace, people in reception made everything for us to have a perfect stay! They helped us to fix my broken shoe and gave a cream to relieve my friend who got hurt. Only the last day they didnt come to clean the room (there is absolutely no problem with that), and we found a dead cocroach in the bathroom in the morning just before to go. "Good things. 1. 2-3mins from the beach which was lovely. 2. Staff were nice. 3. Airport shuttle (to and fro) was $20 which was really good. Bad things. 1. Bad Internet service. 2. Food was not nice. Chinese restaurant with no spices and salt. Had to eat in a nearby restaurant with very fine dining. 3. Expedia messed up with communication, so we had originally booked for half board, however, this hotel doesn't offer half board. So glad we did not get half board cos the food was not nice at all...

"The guest house zone is simple and basic. Great garden and newly built roof top with the restaurant. People were really pleasant. Hardy - is the best host, took me on a ride to show the island when I first arrived! I enjoyed conversations with him. Food was great and not expensive at the restaurant. Thank you!"

"I liked the elevator to reach my room on the third floor. I also liked being close to the Red Wave supermarket in the area. However, my room was pretty noisy both at night and in the early morning. There were strange noises coming from upstairs early morning. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful."

"We stayed 5 nights at the beach villa and the last night at the water pool villa and we would definitely recommend it! The property is not too big, it's very quiet, surrounded with a beautiful garden, perfectly maintained all the time - so it met our expectation all the way. The staff is exceptional, extremely kind and fast. The food is delicious, we tried all 3 restaurants and all were excellent. The Spa was also amazing. The marine sport center offers a lot of things to do. We did shark snorkeling tour and basic diving - all unbelievable experiences - go for it! If you choose all-inclusive they give you some discounts on Spa and you can get kayak or pedal boat daily for free (1H) and also you will get the snorkeling gear for the whole stay. The reef around the island is amazing and the water is so warm and calm that it's not possible not to try to snorkel even if you never tried it before."

"Is a very good hotel option to overnight stay Property is located close to the airport, our room in floor level 7 was clean, tidy very good, personnel attention to guest is outstanding, airport shuttle was very good with very clean cars and very good driver, breakfast with good variety and delicious, laundry services very good, all street in male are clean but very crowded with motorcycles, pedestrians are not priority to pass first, is very risky walking at anytime."
