"Though we had rain through most of our trip, it was made better by this amazing house! A few separate families joined us, and the layout was ideal for our purposes. We could shoo the dear children to the downstairs living airea where they could play and be noisy and access the outdoors just fine! There was one small step to access the main floor, kitchen, utility room, dining area, living room, and large deck - this was what we needed for the older members of our party. The parking was ideal as well - we were able to swing down the circular drive to drop off our things and then drive back up to park. As stated, the younger kids stayed downstairs and had their own microwave, sink, frig, and coffee pot - as well as a large bathroom, tub/shower combo, and two additional bedrooms! There was also a deck and plenty of seating inside and out at this level. The third floor had room to sleep another group, a full bathroom with shower, and a small balcony facing the street (where there was room enough to sit and enjoy coffee solo - a true gift! Ha!).In the few dry hours, we were able to relax by the water and watch the fog roll in. We got our steps in walking from floor to floor as there were plenty of staircases, but our older relatives made it fine with everything they needed on the main floor. What a perfect vacation spot!! "Was a good stay. Id change one thing. The shower rod bar was horrible. Was curved down so the shower curtain would not stay closed on either end. And the light fixture in the bathroom really needed a cover. "

"Although mother nature had quite a bit of on and off rain. There was great enjoyment and grilling time on the back covered deck. Was able to enjoy time by the lake fishing. Everything for indoor living from the kitchen to the bedrooms made it easy to not have a need to bring anything, just food and beverages. "

"The lake house was absolutely wonderful! The property and lake were beautiful. It is quiet and away from everything. We were four adults and 7 teens (16-18yrs) that were there for a church youth retreat. The property met all our needs for quiet reflection as well as fun entertainment. The owner was wonderful with communication and was a fantastic host. Book now and enjoy a very relaxing getaway in a well equipped home."
