The location is really convenient for the beach (which is directly opposite) Devonshire Park Tennis, theatres and Winter Garden - all just a short walk away. Several good restaurants nearby. "It’s a fantastic hotel with amazing views as you’d expect from the name. The staff are ever so friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed making the most of the gym and other facilities especially as I visited in a quiet season. The only downside is that the mattress in the room felt very stiff and dated. Apart from that I’d stay there again! (Maybe in a different room though) "

The rooms themselves were medium sized and had a shared balcony area above the first floor, and as I have been to Eastbourne countless times at many hotels I would put this definitely in the upper ranks compared to all others. The man on reception was very friendly and funny.
