"This is a nice little hotel in a great location. Our room was large and comfortable. Things were clean and the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was good. And you have your choice of a western breakfast or a Sri Lankan breakfast."

"I loved Pearl House Kandy! It was a short climb up the hill, but transport was managed well by the lovely Sri Lankan owners who listened to every comment and small complaint. It was close to town. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely view over the city. Breakfast was served for a very reasonable price."

"Fantastic stay at Marvel Hills. Sarath is the perfect host, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast offerings were plentiful both traditional and western. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Sarath organised a TukTuk for us for a day with a friendly local. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning. "

"it is the 2nd time hotels.com is selling me a place that does not exist anymore. we went to the place after calling but failing to get an answer multiple times, they said they are not open for a year. it was a terrible experience to walk all the way with the luggage at night and trying to find another available hotel was awful."

"This place deserves to be popular. Nice, clean, modern, balcony, breakfast, laundry service. Short walk around the lake into town. But even better are the staff. They helped me alot when I needed a bit of help contacting guides for other trips i'd arranged. And they helped chase away the monkeys at breakfast, because those monkeys will get your breakfast if you're not fast enough."

"Good clean property with decent air con, and very helpful staff. Great location in Kandy close to main attractions. Quality of hotel quite basic but good given the budget price, didn’t have any food so can’t comment on this. Would go back again especially if wanting a more budget option in Kandy. "

"Der blev afholdt 2 store arrangementer samme dag. Det betød at vi blev vækket med høj musik allerede kl. 7.00. Da der skulle afholdes bryllup ventede vi 1 time på morgenmaden. Det viste sig at der også skulle holdes fødselsdag om aftenen - så der var høj musik til 23.15. Der blev ikke gjort rent på værelset mens vi var der, og der var ikke wifi på værelserne som der er angivet. "

"We liked this place a lot. The staff were exceptional. The hotel is away from the centre of Kandy, about 10 minute walk around the lake, which we preferred. There are nice places to eat locally. The breakfast at the hotel was great. Would stay here again."

"We had an incredible stay at Rusty Bunk Villa, which comfortably accommodated our group of six. "An amazing place that is conveniently located near Kandy Lake. The staff were very friendly and supportive which helped us a lot since we were with a 4yr old. The restaurant serves a nice variety of dishes that are reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend the Chicken Waffle. "

Excellent hotel in Kandy

"Excellent location with easy walk to Kandy Lake and Tooth Temple. Staff were very courteous and professional. Room was very clean, modern design and breakfast buffet was of high quality and plenty of choices. Great value for the stay. We had a fantastic view of the lake and city from our balcony. "

Great hotel at a reasonable price!

"This hotel is a great choice for a short stopover. All staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are comfortable with a huge bathroom , which is well kitted out with amenities. The only downside is the air conditioning unit which is very loud. Breakfasts are varied and dinners are tasty. "
