"Park We really enjoyed our 1-night stay at the Queen’s Arms. We arrived at 4pm to a warm welcome from the staff and headed to our room called Blenheim. The room was very comfortable which a gorgeous bed, a large bathroom complete with roll top bath tub, rainfall shower, lovely smelly toiletries and a gold-plated loo. Which we thought was ace. It’s not everyday you see one of those! The room had all the things you’d expect - TV, fast wifi, plug sockets near the bed, iron, hairdryer, and the largest selection of teas and coffees we’ve ever seen. We had booked dinner for 7pm so proceeded to head downstairs to the bar where we tried a few of the local ales. The bar staff were really welcoming and kept an eye on when our pints were running low - great service. The Six Nations was in full swing (ENG v IRL) so the place was alive with locals too. We headed back to our room to get ready for dinner, and we were not disappointed. Again, the service was impeccable. And the food was sensational. We enjoyed a great steak and one of the nicest beef pies I’ve ever tasted. After a great night’s sleep and a morning soak in the tub while enjoying the morning sunshine, we went down for breakfast. Again, we couldn’t fault the service and the cooked breakfast was delicious. Really tasty food. They obviously have an excellent chef in the kitchen. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again one day for some good old-fashioned great hospitality."

"5/5 for everything. Staff was kind and helpful. Restaurant was delicious and offered great promos for food/drink and even had trivia night. Room and facilities are well kept. Won our group over with the heated towel warmers. Absolutely adorable room. Beds were so comfortable. Price and location right in the middle of all sorts of stores, cafes, etc was unbeatable. "

"Early days for this hotel when I visited, only recently opened. However, loved the restaurant & room. Parking arrangements could do with a better explanation but could not fault my stay."

"Very clean and close to town Based in the racecourse which I would guess is a pain to get to when the races are on but was great for my stay arriving in the evening and leaving early Dining options available and a nice bar area with very good staff Would def stay again "

"Lovely stay, with unexpected extras, like the sloe gin sample in the room, coffee machine & kettle, pillow mist & lovely toiletries - some really lovely touches - room styling was very bespoke, with quality décor, styling & was very well presented. Service levels do need improvement however, with the need for additional hospitality staff training & attentiveness, whilst not forgetting previous table service requests - the restaurant was only 1/3 full, but the staff looked very overrun. I thought menu choices for dinner were good and the pricing was fair. Our orders/requests for water/ drinks though, were forgotten about at least 3 times. The waitress commented to us that I would need to go to the bar to get my drink as they were exceptionally busy, whilst I waited the 8-9 minutes at the bar, my food had already been brought to the table, so when I returned is wasn't very hot.. Breakfast choices were good, although the 3 times I went for juice/glass, there were none avail & no fruit juice & wasn't replenished during the sitting. I would love to return again, but some little disappointments - which could easily be improved on, without too much effort. Thank you. "
