"If you’re hiking the Caminito Del Rey, or not this hotel is outstanding. I was amazed at how nice this place is for where it’s located. Staff was awesome, as was our room, and the food was excellent. We had an 8:50 start for the Caminito and the bus was right out in front of the hotel to deliver us to the start. And the end of the trail is just a short distance from the hotel. Parking was easy with many covered spots, and not super tight like most places. I highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay at the villa and really made the most of it as the wet weather meant we had to stay in at times. We had beautiful views of the stunning mountain that we both hiked and climbed. We were warm and comfortable with plenty of firewood. The kitchen is super well equipped and it allowed for cooking for many people. The shop was about 15min drive in a near by village. There is enough communal space to spend time together as well as having time in our own rooms. The views and vegetation are magical. Would definitely come back! Thank you to our wonderful hosts for being very communicative and helpful!"

"20 min easy walk to town. Hotel rooms clean and spacious and good value for money. (beds a bit too firm for us!!) Due to new legislation for booking in, ( passport details, email etc)it took a while as chap at reception didn't speak English and my Spanish is poor( thank you google translate!)we got there in the end. Restaurant, cafeteria next to hotel, good food , excellent coffee, excellent staff."

"Alora is a bustling little town nestled on a hill and the room I had overlooked the old Moorish fort on the adjoining hill. Beautiful ! The hotel was basic but spotlessly clean and the owners Paco and Monica were lovely. And great value for the single traveller "
