"The vacation home was exactly what it was advertised to be, with comfortable space and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The owners have done an excellent job providing little spots of interest and ample outdoor areas for enjoying the view. "

"I've always had the grandbabies over for a Christmas weekend of games, Gingerbread & cookie decorating, dance lessons, and bonding with their cousins. When they were little it was easy to sleep a couple on a rollaway two on a sofa & 4 in the queen bed in our home's guestroom. Oh how they've grown! The Chillinois has hosted me, Grandpa & all of our teen & adult grandbabies for a couple years now and we'll be back again as long as my g-babies keep coming out for their Christmas gig. "We love the location on the lake. The view from the house was incredible. The kitchen was our favorite part of the house. Everyone could congregate and enjoy. The bar set up in the kitchen with a mini icemaker and a wine refrigerator was a brilliant idea. I love that there were two refrigerators. One in the kitchen for food and one in the basement for beverages. We love the view of the lake from the hot tub. The hot tub was big, clean, HOT (which was perfect). Our family built lasting memories....

"We had a quick overnight stay with our two medium sized dogs. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and it had a fenced in area for the dogs to stretch their legs. Very cut retro decor as well. It met our needs perfectly!"

"Floating in the pool overlooking the lake was a very relaxing way to enjoy that wonderful view. The house is very comfortable and the decor is very cute. It was one of our favorite weekends we will never forget and can’t wait to visit again. Thanks so much for sharing your home 💞"

Open Living/Kitchen/Dining perfect for entertaining

"Great beds, very clean place. Property feels private. Only downside is the dozens of little flies that come inside when you open the front door if you have ANY Lights on inside at all. Even in late November, this was a very real problem, with no apparent solution except to just stay inside. If the fire pit is not your thing, just stay inside, I guess."

"Nice property. Lots of space and beds. Close to the access for the river (2 minute drive/15 minute walk). Communicative host. And great location. I think the only thing I'd say I wish was out of their control. The river was pretty low. Where you walk down to get to the river from the property was really just stagnant water followed by super high weeds/grass area so you couldn't really get to water whereas I thought I'd be able to sit and fish or something.
