Sunny, Spacious & Central: Bowler

Experience the comfort and luxury of a hotel combined with the personal touches and charm of a private home. The Bowler suite is a serene and welcoming space that is particularly well suited for longer stays. Our lovingly restored Hudson Milliner Boutique Guesthouse was built in 1860, the building was once used as a milliner's hat shop, and we have preserved many of its original details such as solid mahogany stairwells, stunning pocket doors with etched glass, and gorgeous hardwood floors.

The suite features one bedroom with a large living room area and a stunning eat-in-kitchen kitchen with room for 6 – 8 people. The bedroom has a queen-sized antique sled bed, a lounging area, and a designated workspace. There is an armoire with drawers and space to hang clothes. The spacious private bathroom has been renovated to combine old-world charm with a beautiful, restored clawfoot bathtub and shower. Oversized windows flood the rooms with sunshine and the 14-foot ceilings feature exposed original beams. A curated selection of locally sourced antique furniture and meticulously restored mid-century appliances meet modern conveniences such as central AC and heating, high-speed internet, blue-tooth speakers, a building-wide water filtration system, and access to washer/dryer. Special touches include bespoke fixtures made by reclaimed industrial materials, decorative floor tiles of our own design, and original artwork by us and our talented friends. Washer and dryer are available on a separate floor. As the unit is on the top floor, noise is minimal.

All guests have access to our beautiful covered greenhouse courtyard, a lovely space to enjoy your morning coffee, get work done, or indulge in a glass of wine. You can also use the BBQ to grill up a family dinner.

You won't need a car, as we're a 10-minute walk away from the train station. For guests who arrive by car, free street parking is available. If you have trouble finding a spot, we offer a private parking space for $30 per night.
Guests will have sole access to their kitchen, bathroom, sleeping and living area. Our guests' privacy is most important to us.

Hudson Milliner is centrally located on the 400 block of Warren Street in Hudson. You have a great selection of restaurants, incredible antique stores, coffee shops, local pubs, as well as live music venues within walking distance. A nature walk just north of Hudson in the reserve is just a bike- or car ride away. A little further away are our personal favorites Bash Bish Falls and Kaaterskill Falls.

The easiest way to get here is by car or by Amtrak train to the Hudson station, which is a 10-minute walk from the Hudson Milliner.

Lovely Weekend
This property is perfectly situated on Warren street. We walked everywhere, and it was relatively easy to find. The Bowler was absolutely stunning, exactly as shown, and all of the retro kitchen appliances worked beautifully! Charlotta was easy to communicate with and we were able to meet her and Shannon at the end of our stay. Would absolutely stay again.

Cool suite in a great location!
We were in Hudson for a wedding, and this place was perfect! Right on the main street with shops and restaurants, but no noise, and an easy ride from wherever you'd want to go. Charming interior decor from the millinery, upgraded with Google Nest for comfort :) If we go back to Hudson, we'll definitely stay again!

Perfect location on Warren Ave
Super cool townhouse in a perfect location in the middle of Warren Ave. Room was spacious with a nice kitchen and plenty of room to dine in. Bed was super comfortable with foam mattress. Easy key pad for entry and did not encounter another person the entire stay. Cool vibe overall.

Oozes with authentic Hudson character!
Lovely suite with incredible eclectic decor while being comfortable and exceptionally well located. It is set up as an apartment and has some Uber cool vintage touches like an icebox and 50s era oven. Everything works beautifully and communication was great. Staying here made us want to move to Hudson!

Vintage charm, roomy, in the heart of Hudson. Loved it!
Highly recommended! Not only was the place itself comfy and right in the center of town, the owners provided all sorts of great suggestions for what to do in and around Hudson. Would definitely stay here again.

An amazing place to stay
We stayed in the Bowler Suite and it was fantastic! The owners have done a terrific job of renovating the space but still highlighting a lot of the older features that make the space unique, such as the high ceilings with exposed beams and exposed brick wall. The decor and furnishings in the suite really made it feel like a home away from home and the large kitchen is a good combination of old and new. There's great tilework on the floors, a large modern sink and dishwasher, but there's also a cool vintage refrigerator and vintage stove that both work well. The kitchen was so great and the vintage stove so fun to use that we decided to buy groceries and cook dinner rather than going out to a restaurant to eat! We're already looking forward to our next visit and we might even try some of the restaurants in the area for dinner!

Amazingly unique apartment in a stylish city
While looking for a place to stay in Hudson, I was impressed by the photos of the Hudson Milliner. Turns out, it's just as impressive in person! The Bowler room was quirky and well-appointed - definitely an experience in and of itself. Charlotta was a great host, ensuring myself and my guest had all of our questions answered. As far as location goes, it's right in the middle of things. Hudson has a lot to offer in the way of high-quality restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend to anyone!

A beautiful and cozy haven in the center of town
My husband and I stayed at the Hudson Milliner (Bowler Room) this past summer, and I'm still talking (and daydreaming) about this lovely place. It's the perfect place to stay in Hudson. Walking distance to gorgeous views, eclectic shops (sooo many vintage/antique shops), fantastic restaurants (Wm. Farmer & Sons, Grazin, Food Studio, Swoon) and bars (Spotty Dog Books & Ale and Back Bar). Coffee and delicious waffles at Moto. The Bowler suite at The Hudson Milliner was super clean and so lovely-magazine worthy yet cozy. The Innkeepers sent an email prior to our stay, with super helpful info and wonderful suggestions. It's an easy town to navigate- perfect for weekend stay. Just be sure to start your day early, as just about everything closes early.

The apartment was comfortable and quiet and right in the heart of Hudson. We would have appreciated a few extra comforts, like extra towels and tissues, but other than that we were completely happy. We would love to stay again.

Amazing spot to stay in Hudson!
My bridal party and I all stayed at the Hudson Milliner for my wedding. We each stayed in the 4 rooms, each of which were beautiful. The decor is amazing. The rooms are very large and comfortable (as are the beds!) It's a perfect spot to stay for a weekend get away, girl's trip or solo adventure. The location is amazing as well, in the center of town and all the best shops and restaurants.

Amazing location, tons of vintage charm.
My adult children and I booked the two top floor rooms at the Milliner (Bowler & Top Hat rooms) for an August visit and really loved the location, amenities and charm. The place is old and quirky (creaky stairs, antique tubs) but had been carefully updated to make it comfortable for modern tastes without sacrificing character or authenticity. Warren Street is out front and the church steeple is out back but I was surprised at how quiet, spacious and airy it was. Glad to say the AC worked great too, not always a given in older buildings. Because of the steep stairs, tubs etc. I wouldn't recommend it for families with little kids or with mobility issues, but for location, charm and amenities we give it six thumbs up!

In the heart of Hudson, a beautiful, well appointed apartment with classic antique style.
Charlotta and Shannon have created special hideaways in this Historic building. We landed on Warren Street quite late, having come up from the city, and should have downloaded the email full of instructions they sent the day before! So, we arrived a little lost, but once we found our way, we were inside the building and making tea in our spacious classic kitchen outfitted with antiques and modern alike. Everything works, the space was huge- big enough for two adults and two children on air mattresses- the sheets and towels were soft and the area is phenomenal. We will be returning.
