"Very well located for main sights and the metro, good facilties, room was clean and well furnished. Room was not too modern but it was large, very clean, housekeeping was excellent."

"What we liked: It was our 2nd time staying at this hotel when visiting Shanghai. The 1st time, we were given a room with an amazing view of Nanjing Road but this time, we had a view on the other side of the building (where the Family Mart is) and it was not a problem but it was less interesting. The room is very spacious, clean and quiet. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are on the firmer side. The bathroom is very spacious and it has both a standing shower and a bathtub shower. In terms of location, the hotel is right by Nanjing Road and walking distance to the Bund. It’s also close to 3 metro stations (Nanjing Road East, Nanjing Road West and People’s Square). Very conveniently located to go buy breakfast in the morning on Nanjing Road. We enjoyed our stay. What we think can be improved: We hope the hotel will become more environmentally friendly by moving away from tiny bottles of shampoo/conditioner and switching to larger refillable bottles. "

"Great hotel and easy to get to F1 race on line 2, then line 11 right to track. It takes almost two hours due to metro stopping at every station and line-ups but I would stay here again. Club room was amazing with Pudong and river views and super customer service and superior club lounge. Enough food for dinner Ni each night. "

"Because of a very pleasant experience the last time I’d stayed at Shanghai EDITION, I decided to make a return. My family and I stayed at EDITION for 5 nights and every night was great - all the way from arrival to departure, the staff / crew were implacable. Special mention of Benjamin Zhou who made our stay even better. He was attentive to details and very knowledgeable. Very helpful and assisted us in whatever we needed. He also went above and beyond to help us plan / arrange meals whenever we needed. He’s an asset to the hotel and a joy to be around when inquiring help. Would definitely come back to EDITION again!
