Amazing experience. First time using the limousine service and was great indeed. Hotel is not able to book for us the Rong restaurant as they do not provide reservation. However, we still manage to get our lunch there to experience the fantastic food!

The hotel is actually great, but there is a massive construction site in the back and it is very noisy. So make sure that you get the Xintiandi view side.

The hotel was cool, and the room very comfortable. House cleaning was very slow - didn't happen until very late afternoon. Restaurant options were too limited - either very high end or not many options.

Love this Hotel, but Showing Signs of its Age
I've been staying at this hotel for close to a decade now and still keep coming back. I have noticed that the rooms are showing signs of aging and wear which is a bit disappointing. Also, there is massive construction on one side of the hotel and for the last 3 trips they have put me on the construction side. Maybe chosse a "city view" if available when you book.

1st time in the Andaz Xintiandi in Shanghai, really surprised, how it was. Check-in and Check very efficient and very friendly staff, well speaking english. Room was a good size, bathroom very special, big and very clean. Comfortable bed, soft drinks at the Minibar for free, only the TV channels are very bad, half of them no signals and not really many english channels. Xintiandi only 2 minutes walking and very easy for find a good place to eat. Subway station just max. 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast Buffet was exceptional good with a great selection for everyone. Will definetely coming back again.

Incredibly disappointing
There was absolutely nothing special about this hotel, which I found extremely disappointing. The room itself was mediocre at best, the view out the window looks down on a massive construction project, the pool was cold and had mold dripping off the walls, the breakfast was underwhelming and the food was as cold as the dining room. Things I had seen such as a free mini bar or hosted happy hour were not true either. All in all, a colossal disappointment. If this is the “concept” that Hyatt had in mind, they should go back to the drawing board. I’ve had better stays in hotels 1/4 of the price.
