"Everything was perfect - good communication with Angel before arrival, he helped me with our luggage, the room was excellent, the kitchen has everything you need, laundry was available cheaply, and there's hot water in the shower. Huanchaco is a nice chilled town and there are plenty of places to eat. The market, fruit and vegetable stores and bakery are a couple of minutes walk from the accommodation, the beach about ten minutes walk. We extended our stay multiple times and highly recommend...

"The hotel is the best we have stayed in Peru. Close proximity to the Plaza de Armes, safe neighbour. The owner is very pleasant to talk to, very helpful. Room is cleaned daily, fresh towels. Hot showers. You have few options for breakfast - either basic included in the hotel price or for a half price you can get a more fulfilling breakfast. Would recomend it and would stay again. "We were greeted by a very nice gentleman who helped us up to our room, and then ushered us off to breakfast! Not only were we checking in very early in the moring, but had breakfast upon arrival! They were doing some upgrades, and the workmen were not only quite polite, and helpful, but the distraction from their work was minimal. The hotel was very clean, and we felt quite safe there. As we weren't leaving until late in the evening, they let us store our luggage there, while off to our last...

"Room spacious. Lounge, table and chairs and bed. Room on 4th floor but very noisy. Breakfast posed an issue. Tried ordering it early but still didnt get it on time. The day we left we asked for breakfast prior to 7.30am. It turned up as we were walking down the steps to leave. 8.20am. They dont seem to get it. Dont pay for breakfast you either wont get it or it will be two bread rolls."

"Highly recommended. Ana was so hospitable and fun! I think she upgraded my room which was appreciated. It was huge and had it's own balcony! The young man attended during the day and I always felt welcome here. The location was good too as its at the end of town and quiet. Lovely walks to the Muelle and shops cafes etc. If I ever have the chance to come back I'll definite stay here at the Bamboo. Thanks Ana!🤗"
