"I loved every minute of our stay at the Pavana retreat. The rooms were beautifully appointed with new furnishings, excellent air conditioning, good internet wifi and a lovely view across the pool. Most importantly it was quiet; something that I haven't experienced in a while. The weather in February is perfect, cool mornings (16 deg) and warm dry days (30 deg)."

"Guests should note this is a pet friendly hotel which is rare in Thailand. It’s obvious from the decorations (and hotel name!) and each room comes with a custom made dog bed. Great attention to detail! I didn’t bring my dogs on this trip because I wanted to check it out first. I will definitely be back with them on my next trip to Chiangmai "

"This was a fantastic hotel!!! Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Had breakfast there pretty much every morning because most places weren’t open early enough. The only complaint (and it is not them) is that it was very difficult to sleep because the bars across the street were soooo loud and would play music till after midnight. Otherwise the stay was amazing!!! "

"We had a great stay at the Chaya. In particular the staff were all very friendly and attentive. As for the room, it was very clean, spacious and kept to a high standard. We didn’t have breakfast and didn’t tour the local area so can’t comment, but for the pool and the room we would highly recommend this hotel. Short taxi away from the airport and the Old town and local enough for tours to collect us from the hotel. "
