"We saw the Lakeside in while visiting Mount Dora's Blueberry festival the previous year and thought it was so lovely. We stayed 2 nights. All of the employees were super nice and helpful.We loved the historic feel of the inn and the gorgeous grounds. The room was large with even a walk in closet. Furnishings were appropriate for the age of the building and in good condition. Bed was comfortable. Improvements could be made, perhaps new/cleaned carpets and provide a fridge. We loved the Lakeside Inn and will return."

"Was not familiar with the area but hotel was easy to find and convenient to major tollways. Clean and quiet."

"Asked for late checkout, but I guess morning staff not informed. cleaning staff keep knocking on door twice, and got a phone call from front desk. Which I had to inform that we requested a 12:30 checkout."

"We just stayed overnight, but they were VERY accommodating. They asked if we wanted first or second floor, and after stating a second floor preference he gave us one far from other rooms for privacy. It was very nice as we prefer places quiet since we generally get up early for departures, and the quieter it is, the easier it is to fall and stay asleep. 10/10 would recommend, and we'll definitely stay here again if we're in need."
