If you are considering this property due to its proximity to the hospital DON’T. The hotel has no flexibility for guests staying for medical reasons. I have never had a hotel refuse to refund unused nights for medical reasons. I chose this hotel because it’s one of the closest hotels to Orlando Central Health hospital. I had to stay due to a family member’s hospitalization. I booked four nights initially because that’s how long medical staff thought he would need to stay but fortunately he was discharged early. Unfortunately the hotel refused to refund two of my unused nights. I spoke to the assistant manager, Tina, who apparently received instructions from the general manager David Flowers. She was unfriendly and lacked any empathy or understanding about the situation. This is the hospitality business. People don’t stay at this hotel if they are going to theme parks (too far and many better and closer options). They stay here for business or medical reasons. It’s unfortunate that they choose to treat guests this way, Since medical situations are by their nature unpredictable. There are at least two other hotels near the hospital and I recommend people choose one of those unless and until the hotel changes their policies toward medical guests.
