"Three friends and myself just wanted to get away for a day and we chose this cabin. We wanted the sample some of the local cuisine and a day away from city life. I would recommend bringing some DVDs! The owner of the property is very close by and if you have any issues, they can be taken care of quickly. This would be a great place for kids, especially in the winter time! I would highly recommend this beautiful log cabin to anyone."

"Sam went above and beyond without me even asking. I had mentioned it was daughter’s birthday and I was so surprised when we got here and there was a banner and balloons for my daughter. Everyone thing one would need is available. We just hung out. Had fires and door dashed food. We wanted a quiet break from our busy lives . The tree house is so cozy. I have never slept so good !! "This cabin had everything! From the extra cozy blankets in every room to the sauna on the bottom floor! Would love to come back in warmer weather."

"Close to MIS! Very Clean and quiet. It’s like indoor camping. Didn’t use the fire pit area but what a great option for groups. Floor is a bit warped in the bedrooms and bathroom door didn’t close shut. Remember there is not WiFi or tv but having Verizon, our cell phones did work in the area. Contact with owner was great."

"Very rustic but fun. Lake not usable but we weren't there for that. Bathroom door didn't shut all the way. Needs to be rehung or shaved down a bit. Hope to stay again. "

Our host, John, was very helpful. I would recommend a nightlight for the cabin as it is very dark if you have to get up in the middle of the night. Highly recommend. "
