"The staff couldn't be more friendly"

"I was really sceptical at first because when we arrived the pub was really noisy but we had been told the venue was lively. I went to use the toilet in the bar while waiting for the key to our room and none of the hot taps worked in the ladies. We also had to wait about 10 minutes to get a key from the busy bar staff. However, the room was clean, the bed really comfortable and the bathroom was nice with lovely towels. The hotel was in a good location for what we needed and a lovely receptionist...

"The rooms were lovely and beautifully furnished. There was a cold draft by the door (these are 'motel' type rooms) but it was a particularly cold night. Customer service was excellent and the food equally so "

"Our 3rd stat as lovely but we had a different room and was quite small, quite tired in places and shower room awkward and small. Also noise from entryway door and stairs. "

"The Bushel staff were so friendly and helpful and allowed us a slightly earlier check-in to attend my daughter's wedding. The location of the hotel was perfect in the centre of Bury St Edmunds with the addition of free parking. The breakfast was good and the portions excellent. We had drinks at the bar & all the staff we dealt with were great. Thank you for providing a very comfortable stay in Bury St Edmunds."
