"Stayed for 2 nights in a Comfy Cabin room over a weekend. I had emailed beforehand, asking for a room with a bath and this was honoured. Room was nice and large-ish for a hotel of this size. The decorations were quaint and thought was definitely put into the wall pictures and decor. Bathroom was great, with large bath and separate shower. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked. Customer service was 5*. Thanks "

"The rooms are comfortable and had all the facilities you would want. The rooms are a little tired but with such a busy island you’ll only be sleeping and showering in it. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming including to our dog who they treated like royalty. Evening meal very good and breakfast which I paid for in advance was impressive. Great location. A little noisy at pub closing time but should be expected as I booked a hotel above a pub!!! Would recommend for all"

"Close to cruise port but we did have to stand in the rain because we didn’t have access to our room until the owner came to open for us. Very nice staff and rooms were super clean. Prices were reasonable compared to big named hotels. We always like to stay at smaller inns to get the feel of the neighborhood. Great neighborhood pub. People all super friendly and the locals went out of their way to welcome us and visit! "

"I read the reviews of this hotel after booking and was a bit apprehensive but this hotel is clearly under new management. Staff so helpful and friendly breakfast was really tasty with fresh locally sources produce and I had the mixed grill in the evening (my go to meal), AMAZING! If I ever visit the IoW again I would happily stay at the Prince of Wales. "

"The Grapes Hotel is a piece from history, and historic hotel connected with historic events that hasn´t had the old doors and woodwork replaced with modern veneer. This is absolutely the real deal. "Warm and friendly welcome. Room a little small but clean and inviting. Quiet and peaceful sleep, curtains a little thin and let in the morning light. Breakfast was amazing! So was our evening meal in the pub. Excellent service throughout our whole stay. Would definitely stay again. "
