"Very clean, gorgeous landscape, quiet, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. We had breakfast (included) and a beautiful, candlelit dinner at the hotel. Food is delicious, super fresh with many products (butter, granola, strawberry jam, cheese) made on the property. Convenient to Poas Volcano and La Paz Waterfall Park. Highly recommend. "

"Beautiful eco resort by the river. We went to sleep listening to the river and saw a great many bird watchers and photographers on the site. Two very different restaurants and a nice pool. The howler monkeys put on a great show by the pool. "

"A beautiful location with views of the mountain valley. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Norman in particular was helpful and spent time talking to us about some of the costa Rican areas of interest including the local strawberry enterprise. I recommend the strawberry crepe."

"This is a unique place of natural wonders and that makes it difficult to review or compare to other accommodations. This is not your regular hotel with a/c, maid service, restaurant and bar. No, this is a cabin with resident gecko and without a/c. If you eat on site, the meals are cafeteria style, good and hearty. In return, you wake to the sound of Howler Monkeys, toucans and macaws. You walk from your cabin into the forest and you are immersed in the natural world. We love this place. It was our second visit and we will return."
