"We truly loved the area. The house was well equipped. Nice neighborhood. Clean kitchen, bathroom comfortable beds. Only thing, the downstairs carpet sure needs to be changed and I didn’t get check in instructions on time. Had to find the phone number in the app and call host to get check in instructions. Once I got of hold of Sophie she was very helpful and apologized for the inconvenience . Otherwise we enjoyed Lower Slaughter "

"Elm Bank is a beautiful cottage in a perfect location in Lower Swell. The listing is accurate, if anything the pictures do not quite show you how large the cottage is. We were more than comfortable as a group of six adults. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, the fridge is expansive, and there's plenty of storage for food and other necessities. They had milk, cookies, and chocolate poundcake waiting for us. The accommodations were modern and very clean and functional. "Spent a great weekend in this lovely (and warm) cottage. Beautifully clean and very well appointed with all mod cons. Location excellent in easy walking distance of pubs and shops. Check out the Sunday lunch in the Lygon Arms - both the food and the staff were excellent. If visiting nearby Broadway, would highly recommend popping into the Gordon Russell Design Museum "

"If you’re up for a weekend you can’t go wrong with Cloud Nine. Excellent location, all mod cons, tasteful decor. Great comms with owner. Leave the car in the very handy allocated space and walk. Our top tip: follow George Lane and keep going 15mins (pathway) to Broad Campden and the excellent Bakers Arms. "

"Wendle Cottage is convenient, the property manager goes out of his way to help guests with any problems, the cottage itself is old but has a fairly new kitchen. It would have been nice to have a French press as there is only a pod type coffee maker. Other reviews have addressed the staircase and they are correct. It’s very steep and needs the handrails. It’s very close to the major grocery store and train. Would recommend cottage for it’s convenience to all of the Cotswolds."
