5/5 Excellent
"Let me start with the only negative: the breakfast was cold. The boiled or fried eggs and sausages were cold (you would expect warm but no, cold) . If you want something warm for breakfast, I’d recommend going to nearby cafes.
But the dining room’s atmosphere is amazing! The unique vibe and architecture make it unmissable.
The interior design is fantastic. It really changes your mood when you walk in. The room’s furniture is a mix of old and modern pieces but the beds are comfortable. I’m not sure if “dated” or “antique” is the right word to use. the bathroom was large, airy and better than many 5-star hotels.
The staff were lovely, knowledgeable, helpful, respectful and responsive.
If you’re driving, I recommend using their secure car park (just talk to the reception staff). There are nice cafes and a Tesco nearby. The city center is lovely, and the hotel is right in the heart of it. It’s a great location to explore the city.
