"I didn’t catch her name but the young lady who is assistant manager… what a job she does! She looked after reception, was the main waitress, also serving behind the bar. And no one was left waiting whatsoever and all on a night that the hotel was fully booked. Tremendous job! "

"For its age the property is in very good condition. The staff were very helpful and obliging. Check in and check out was very easy and quick. The food was excellent and varied. We have enjoyed our stay at the Waveney House and will certainly choose to stay there when we next visit that area again "

"I stayed 2nights with my daughter ,at the best western Claydon hotel,, spotlessly clean, all staff where very nice and welcoming , restaurant was nice & welcoming ,and the food here is excellent .you have a good option choice of 1coarse, 2 course or 3 course meals . The area is very good, nice quiet village, not far from Ipswich and Stowmarket ,loved our stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend,"

"Proper Country House Hotel. Great looking place. Staff all v friendly and helpful at every touch point from reception to the gym to the bar. Don't forget your Golf clubs (like I did) as great driving range if you don't want to play 18holes (with separate golf bar) Rooms spacious and clean. Bed and pillows a bit hard for my taste but blackout curtains work well! 😉"
