Our host Gudrun was very kind and laid back in a positive way. We were late arriving due to train delays and perhaps a bit frazzled and it was so nice to interact with someone cheerful and relaxed. Warm welcome and friendly conversation, took time to give us advice on travel into Freiburg. We took the tram which was excellent, only a few stops into city centre from village short distance away. Perfect location, peaceful location close to city transport links. We would have used the restaurant but we were visiting friends who live in the same village. "
