Nice, rocky shoreline is accessible by foot and fun to explore, but not ideal for swimming or launching kayak -- no worries, a couple very good kayaking locations just up the road. We had an outstanding visit and wished we'd had another day or two to enjoy the area."

"Perfect spot for our 5-day getaway with our two dogs. Waking up to the lake view each morning was a great way to start the day. (We were even lucky enough to have a bald eagle hanging out on the property.) The cottage was stocked with everything we needed to feel at home—including a thoughtful treat basket for both us and our pups! We enjoyed every moment and look forward to returning in the future. The town is really cute and an easy drive if you want to explore the area around Murray State. "

"When you see the VRBO exceeding your expectations, you know you hit the jackpot! This lovely home was so beautiful, up to date, and had all we needed and more. The beds were comfortable, the views were amazing and the privacy was delightful. We especially enjoyed the front and back porches for visiting, drinking coffee and watching the wildlife.
