"Overall a good stay. The house has good amenities and there is a lovely view of the mountains. Unfortunately, the beds weren't very comfortable. One of the queen beds is quite hard and the other is a futon. The bunk beds had thin foam mattresses. There is a lot of construction going on across the street. Otherwise, a decent stay."

"This place was everything we needed and more! Our group was 8 guys one of whom was a chef and agreed the kitchen was and had everything he needed to make our many feasts throughout our stay. The sauna beat any hangover remedy you could try and was calling your name if you needed it. We stayed in August when water shortages weren’t a thing and weather was perfect. Would love to try and experience this stay in the winter months and do some skiing. Bedding and sleeping arrangements worked...

"Cabin was very close to Sasquatch Mountain Ski Resort. The Kids enjoyed Tubing and Skiing. The Cabin is very nice and undergoing some renovations. Cant wait to see once finished. Lots of space for family and beds very comfortable!"

"The black pine is a beautifully appointed cabin in sunshine valley, gateway to incredible hiking, lakes and mountain adventures. We enjoyed our time though were surprised by this local not only being in a new community but one of the few finished properties and surrounded by job sites. Thankfully not aggressively active construction and there was no early morning noise. I am sure it will be beautiful in the next many months and definitely a spot worth checking in the winter!"

"We are a group of 6 who plan an annual getaway to reconnect and enjoy the outdoors. From our arrival through to departure we were delighted with this rental. Everything was as stylish as in the pictures and felt new and clean. We really appreciated the extra touches, plush bedding and towels, well stocked kitchen and spacious deck. It felt like a luxurious home vs. a rental. The Host was very personable and responsive to all of our questions. Highly recommend this beautiful rental."

"Difficulties with earlier travel meant that we arrived at the caboose late into the night, with a scheduled departure of the next morning. We had a short time of exploration of the trails running through the property in the morning, but would have enjoyed seeing more; the trails - which include wooden structures such as stairways, gazebos, bridges, shelters, and boardwalks as well as earthen trails - provide views of the Fraser River from a variety of angles. "This location is beautiful, the place is brand new and everything is really well organized. The basement is super entertaining, lots of games to play with family/friends. The house has lots of space, the hot tub is fairly large and can comfortably accommodate 6 people at once. The hosts are amazing and extremely responsive. We will definitely return! "
