"We loved our stay here! This historic inn is situated right between the towns of Manchester and Bennington, so although there is not a lot in the immediate area, you can drive 10-15 miles along the main road in either direction and have lots of things to do and places to eat. The inn has spacious rooms, a nice breakfast buffet and cookies offered in the evening, along with a spa and massage area. All of the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome and we definitely recommend...

"It was very nice, we had a large room, porch with chairs to set out side, it was more than we expected. Only knock i can give them is, they said there was wifi they gave us a password but the signal was so weak that it only connected for a couple of minutes then it was gone. Went to the office, they said thy would look into it. It never worked during our stay. I would definitely stay again, but if you cant live with out wifi ,this might not be your spot."

"We have 2 dogs who travel with us. So renting pet friendly homes is a much better option than a hotel room. The house was clean, comfortable, and the fenced in yard was great for our dogs. Nice big bath towels (my favorite) and a nicely stocked kitchen made staying at this house very enjoyable. An added bonus were two sets of dog-loving neighbors who came out to greet us and say hello to our pups. Thanks Julie for providing a welcoming place to stay for our weekend getaway."

"We loved our stay at the converted barn! It was completely private and super quiet. The hot tub was great, and I have never seen so many stars in my life! The house was very beautiful and felt like a home, we loved taking a look at all the decor. By the time our trip was coming to an end, we were super sad... we never wanted to leave! I would definitely return to Lars' place!! "

"We were very pleased with our experience at The Villager Motel. The facility was very clean, the water in the shower was hot, and the bed was comfortable. The staff we dealt with were courteous and helpful. I believe the facility had been recently remodeled. The only downside we experienced was difficulty getting a signal on our cell phones. "

"The room was clean and fully met my expectations. The staff made the beds, changed the towels, and cleaned the bathroom daily, which I don't usually expect post pandemic. The staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. In addition to the typical standard continental fare, there was large selection of fresh fruit and berries. I would definitely stay here again."
