"It’s a 3-star near CCU airport in a densely crowded city like Kolkata, may be great by local standards but rating based on ratings standards. Stayed/slept for 4 hours - late arrival and early flight. Good value stay, didn’t feel unsafe. "

"The bathroom was pretty dirty and Stinky. Despite of requesting a queen bed they have given a room by sticking two Single bed keeping next to each other . It was very difficult to make the infant sleep in the middle due to the gap."

Not too bad, could have been much better

"The WiFi was good, hot water was available and the location not too bad. The entire hotel was way too dusty, what is the use of advertising that the rooms have a balcony if the balcony is inaccessible because of inches thick layer of dust! The room service people were nice and sincere. However, from top-down, there appeared to be an attitude of "managing" an issue rather than fixing it. For some TV related issues the staff had to be called 3-4 times. The cold water tap in the room was non functional. The suggestion I got from calling the front desk was to turn off the geyser for cold water. How would that work out when someone wants to take a bath? Thankfully, a room maintenance staff handed me a bucket and a mug but it was still an imperfect solution. The blanket/comforter was way to light and thin for the Jan cold. Lastly, the cafe offers some delectable food, but choices are extremely limited and the overpriced. "

"My tablet computer worth $800 was stolen from bag left in the hotel room no. 301 on 18 Jan. 2024 when I left for 2 hours to Kolkata airport to reclaim my missing bag from Air India. I realised only when I was returning to Mumbai at Kolkata airport in security screening. As I had no time to go back personally, I phoned Hotel Manager who instantly refused any such incident and did not call me back, when I told him to enquire with his staff. Also the same day earlier, he had told me that his people had entered my room with their key IN MY ABSENCE, to leave 2 small bottles of water, when I had left room for 2 hours. This incident left very bad image of the hotel with me as I did not expect it for hotel booked through EXPEDIA and paid in $. "
