"Can't believe the lodge is 99 years old; it's been lovingly maintained. We stayed in one of the Lakeside rooms, delightfully quiet. The rooms had been nicely redone since we last stayed there 20 years ago. Some of the couch cushions in the main lodge's lobby were cracking; hopefully they'll be reupholstered soon."

"Beds were so comfortable and I loved the balcony. Wish the fireplace worked since I got the room partially for that. Floors are pretty sticky but I would stay there again cause loved the fact that you overlook the water with a water view room!! "

"This hotel is a hidden gem. The staff are amazing, and the view to die for. I stayed here Christmas Eve and woke up in the morning to a small gift from the hotel, and that was the best way I could think of to start my day! The decor may be a little dated, but it was a comfortable and welcoming experience "

"We finally had a "destination Thanksgiving" and this property definitely delivered the peaceful and serene setting we were hoping for. Instead of a "Black Friday" shopping rush, we decided to walk along the river and follow the staircase trail. The sound of rushing water, falls, and rapids sure beat the sounds of a typical Black Friday in the shopping centers. We certainly enjoyed the house, views, and location. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat."

"Our family (two adults and pup) had a relaxing Thanksgiving break at the family lake house! There was everything we needed in the kitchen, lots of cozy spots to read, and easy access to the lake at the neighborhood park. We’d love to come back in the summer with a bigger group! "
