"We were looking for an overnight stay during our travel from Napier to Auckland. The Waitomo Lodge is conveniently located on the edge of the small town of Te Kuiti, which provides convenient stores, Cafes & many Takeaway options. It is also a short drive to the famous Waitomo Caves. The Lodge itself had a Warm & Welcoming ambience. The gentleman (who I would assume was the Property Manager), greeted us with a great big smile and genuine personality. Rooms were clean, spacious and fully equipped with all the basics. TV's in both main room & kids room had Netflix, etc. Beds & Pillows were lovely and comfortable, best sleep all week!! Traffic, particularly big trucks, could make the stay a bit noisy (we were a bit further off the main road, would hate to be in unit 1 or 2). Full blockout curtains would just take this room to the next level of comfort. Thank you! "

"Lovely, well-presented property in a secluded, peaceful location by the beach. Great for dog walking! Good advice from the host to bring supplies, as no shops closeby."

"An incredible 4 night stay. We often stay over the hill at Kawhia and have been converted to champions of Aotea. Met Susan and Lilly and they were lovely and available if we needed anything. We didn't though as everything is catered for, it was so comfortable and welcoming. Thank you again. "
