"Beautiful location, grounds and cabin. So close to glow worm caves and have their own little glow worm grotto on the property. Only a 60 second walk from the cabins. Also close to a waterfall and black sand beach. Angus was such a gracious host who made sure we had everything we needed including toast jams and coffee. "Using the Google map we found the house difficult to find as it was the second house in on a street which did not look at all similar to the map. The house was fine and well fitted out with equipment, extra bedding and other extras such as tea & coffee. The outdoor furniture needs replacing as it is very tired making it uncomfortable and requires replacing. The dinning area inside and out was fine the benches offered plenty of room to sit. The unit lacked a night stand and a small table lamp,...

"We chose this place to stay as it was fairly central to many of the things we wanted to do (caves, jet boats, hikes, Rotorua etc) but we wanted to stay somewhere rural and quiet. It is a beautiful property and cottage. There is a Berry farm right next door that does fresh fruit ice cream which is delicious! The property posting said there was laundry available but didn't mention it was 10 per wash/dry...would be good to add that detail for future guests. Would definitely stay here again!"
