"I was not expecting this stay to be as good as it was. Booked it last-minute, due to playing a gig in the local area. Well, it was a great find! From the moment I walked in, the landlord (and the locals!) gave a warm welcome. A fantastic location for a quaint inn with rooms. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities, dressing table, shower gels et cetera. Such a lovely room, too! Breakfast in the morning was top-notch, too. I was sat on my own and the landlord...

"It was a pleasant night obviously it’s above a pub so there is noise but I stayed on a Wednesday night so the pub closes at ten. Friendly staff and the room very clean & warm. I had a shared toilet & shower but there were no issues with that, I would recommend people stay, I went for the races and had a good trip, thanks."

"I was put in a room with 3 single beds. I tried all 3 and they were all extremely uncomfortable. The room is very run down and dirty. The bathroom was cold as the heating didn't work and the shower does not have enough power to have a decent shower. All in all it was an awful experience"

"The room looked ok but on closer inspection not so good! Bathroom had mould in the tile grout in the shower and the remaining bathroom was bare plaster. The toilet seat was not attached properly. "We absolutely loved the house and gardens. We wish we had booked longer to spend more time hanging out together there. Great for kids with the trampoline and large football pitch to run around on.
