"The hotel is located on the main road into Windermere and has its own parking. Check in was fast and the receptionist was very helpful. I was a little disappointed as I didn’t realise that access to the pool with kids is only between 9am - 1pm so we had to move our plans around and take the kids the following morning. "We had a lovely stay at the Whitewater hotel. All the staff were very friendly. We stayed for 1 night with our 3 month old baby and was given a really spacious room on the ground floor with a travel cot. We did stay for dinner at the hotel. The starter was a bit disappointing and when the waiter asked why we hadn't finished it he took it off the bill. The lamb and the steak was lovely. Breakfast was also nice.
