"Relaxing and good location "

"Lovely property and grounds. Wonderful friendly polite and helpful staff. Cozy rooms. Well decorated to suit the old georgian style in modern way. I did find it very hot in room but i waa staying on an extremely hot day it was a little uncomfortable howevver the staff did so all they could to help "

"Stayed with wife & daughter, room spacious with 2 comfortable double beds & decent size bathroom. Didn’t use the spa so can’t comment, bar area was comfy with a terrace if you want to sit outside. Breakfast was lovely, lots on offer. Parking was easy, right next to the hotel. Discovered a bar/restaurant right on the quays below hotel which was lovely too"

"Beautiful hotel, right in the heart of Buxton which is a fantastic little town. Highly recommended, hard to fault the facilities, staff, room and location. The spa is one of the best I’ve ever visited, steeped in history and tastefully done. We’ll be back many times."

"Lovely breakfast and team, Short walk away from most nice location and if the car park was full there was evening street parking. (From 630pm) . Great that the hotel has windows you can open for fresh air, i would prefer a bigger room but was comfortable for the one night . Modern shower and bathroom. "
