"This is a great location within Daytona Beach! Hotel staff service was very good -- we had a bit of a wait for our room at check in, otherwise everything went smoothly. The food at Don Rico's was excellent (we had lunch in restaurant and ordered room service in the evening), and breakfast at Doc Bales was great. Service at both restaurants was top notch. I was concerned by other reviews, and although the rooms may have been a little dated, they were clean and comfortable. We loved having a view of the ocean. I liked the amenities of this resort -- both pools were well-maintained and I really liked having a Starbucks downstairs. Overall, a great place and would love to come back."

"Fantastic!! The place was beautiful. I had a great view of the ocean so I was able to see that as well as the sunrise each morning. Bar and restaurant were great. Pool and hot tub great. Atmosphere of the place was wonderful. I highly recommend this place!! "

"My wife and I were impressed to find a smaller beach front resort type hotel. Pool, hot tub, deck, beach access were great. The rooms were quiet, clean, and very comfortable. Much prefer smaller places like this because at larger hotels, these areas or amenities are almost always in use and often crowded. The hotel was full each night we were there and we never even met anyone on the elevator. Would definitely stay again if in the Ormond beach area. "
