"In passing through in our travels I picked this hotel and we had a very comfortable stay. "

"We were fortunate to have a 2 week stay at this cabin, and could have stayed a lot longer. The land, the cabin and the pond created a wonderful setting for fun and relaxation. The cabin was very comfortable and well designed with great rustic touches. The long porch was awesome, with rocking chairs and some padded furniture, a great place to start the day with coffee and watch the pond come to life. We saw plenty of wildlife, including deer, racoons, rabbits and all types of birds. We became very familiar with a large carp which fed along the shoreline regularly. Fishing was great, and just a few steps down from the porch. We were very content just staying at the cabin, but we did explore the nearby beautiful Bear Creek Lake area and made a wonderful drive down to Storm Creek Lake through the St. Francis National Forest. Overall, our experience was awesome and I think we said "wow" to each other many, many times. We definitely plan to return."

"This was an older home but had character. We enjoyed sitting together in the large room. We were able to fit all 14 people comfortably. We made a lot of good memories playing games and sharing life stories. Unfortunately the air was broken while we were there, but we have been told that the air units are being replaced—so that is great news for all future guests. 😁"
