"Two night stay, Feb 2025 Overall had a great stay, the Hotel is warm and comfortable and the refurbished decor is lovely. The log burner in the lounge/bar area was lit every afternoon/evening and we always found a comfortable corner. "Beautiful lakeside setting we wish we could have enjoyed longer. Staff member reached out to us when we were running late from a mountain hike and made arrival easy for us. Friendly cat brought us a "gift" after we arrived and kept the vermin away while we slept. Most excellent breakfast in the morning was a classic spread of Scandinavian "bread," which is bread, eggs, cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, cereal, and much more, all serviced in the dining room with a view of the lake."
