"The lodge was absolutely wonderful. We honestly had not slept as well as we did at the lodge anywhere else in Japan. Not sure if it was the mountain air, the onsen, or the large rooms that allowed us to settle in and spread out. The hospitality was incredible; the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home, including by providing a bountiful breakfast each morning. My husband and I wish we could have stayed there our entire trip!"

"There are a lot of clutter in the hotel lobby, which makes it feel messy. The hotel looks a bit old, though it is clean. I arrived at the hotel after 10 o'clock at night. When I entered the door, I couldn't see the check-in counter. I went to a counter on the right. There was a card showing “ 百名湯認定証 ”, and add water room “加湯室” was behind the counter. "The owner, Kaori-san, and her sister, who works with her, are welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our conversations with them. The inn is clean and comfortable. We went to Yatsugatake by train, and the station is an uphill walk of 30-40 minutes from the inn. Kaori's sister generously gave us a lift in her own car. We hope to return to this delightful little inn one day."

"オーナーのご夫婦の人柄がとても素敵です。こちらのコテージを45年経営しているそうですが、よくメンテナンスされており清潔で、料理もおいしいです。旦那さんの弟さんが、アメリカのメーン州で留学をされていたそうですが、内観も外観も、ステイしていた牧師さんのお家をインスピレーションに作られているそうです。私の夫はアメリカ人ですが、夫も父方の祖父の家に似ていると言っていました。家具や調度品がとても素敵です。 また、夜は無料で暖炉でマシュマロを焼かせてくださいます。またご夫婦に会いにこちらに泊まりたいです。"

"清里駅から歩いて五分、2泊、2家族一室の利用でした。建物や設備は決して新しくはありませんが、お値段がリーズなブルーななかでも必要最低限の環境があり満足です。特に、当日畳の部屋があいており、そちらを利用させて頂けたこと、お風呂も大きめで、子供と４人で一緒に入れたこと、冷蔵庫少しなら利用させてもらえること、最終日チェックアウト後でも、朝食を取るためのリビングを利用&荷物を置かせて頂けたこと、嬉しかったです。次回も、また利用したいお宿です。"
