"We had previously written Memmingen off as a purely transit town - handy for the nearby airport and nothing else. This was based on the less-than-inspiring train station and it’s immediate vicinity. However, on this visit we were pleasantly surprised to discover a remarkable ’old town’ district a short walk away. Memmingen is worth a longer stay to explore the ancient streets and beautiful buildings, intact after avoiding WWII bombing. The Limehome suite we stayed in was immaculate, very well appointed and in a fantastic location - steps away from the train station and strolling distance from the charming historic centre. Very affordable, spacious and comfortable - we will definitely stay there again to benefit from the cheaper flights through Memmingen airport. "

"Just an enroute overnight stay. City parking across the street easy with a ticket from the machine other wise 9 Euro underground. Staff friendly and informative, large room excellent typical European breakfast, quiet, window opens for fresh air,"

"This is a most impressive hotel with welcoming and professional staff, lovely rooms and a superb breakfast (it's a long time since I've had a fried egg in a hotel breakfast buffet). The room was spacious, comfortable and well soundproofed and also with very good blackout blinds. As mentioned, there is no car parking on site, but the municipal car park is a minute's walk away and is safe and inexpensive (there is also a shopping centre car park a five-minute walk away). "Great place for kids. The apartment was spacious, however extremely hot and we had to request fans. Also there was a strange smell from the sink. The amenities are nice with the pool and saunas, kids playroom. We thought the dinner was quite limited and overpriced (35 euros a person for a buffet). The breakfast buffet was good. The location of the facility was great. "
