"Property is clean, rooms are modern and neat, no fuss, only thing is the breakfast spread is very limited compared to our stay in some of the other hotels in Iceland. Not good place to make a quick stopover and is just on the main road."

"The facecloth was nice & thick. The bath towel was old & worn well. The bedding also needs a refresh. I did not shower there, as open shower soaks toilet & sink area. Food was excellent & service fantastic."

"This was a self check-in, where there was a post-it with our name and room number. Everything was clean and nice, my only nit-pick is on the kitchen, they only had 2 stove rings, and they were 4 different groups in the tiny kitchen, so we had to wait a while to start cooking."

"Beautiful picture window over the bed, highlighting the glacier. Had a gorgeous view of the northern lights. Just enough space for two people, very clean, easy check in and out. Kitchen area good for a very simple meal."

"We saw the northern lights both night we stayed and the room was warm and very quite and clean."

"We did not like to have to make our own beds upon arrival. Nor did we like the obligation to clean the property before leaving. Although there was a recycle bin, it could only take bottles and cans. The are a lot of bugs in the area late in the day so we do recommend some repellent if you plan spending time on the porch."

"We enjoyed the farmhouse. Location is a little out there but very peaceful. Driving through the mountain tunnel to reach it was exciting. Note, the hot water was limited so our family of 5 needed to be mindful of that. "

Great hotel

"Lovely location overlooking the mountains and also glimpses of the glaciers from the room we got Room was really good sized and had all amenities needed Property in clean condition although the electric car charger wasn’t functional and the staff had no information about it Breakfast spread was decent, although have seen better options Parking plenty but the hotel is slightly outside the town of Hofn"
