"I requested a ground or first floor room as I have mobility problems. They emailed me and said they had a ground floor room, but it was an upgrade from what I had booked, therefore I needed to pay another £20.00 per night. I think this was absorbitant, as it didn’t look like the hotel was fully booked. Surely they accommodate disabled people all the time, or is it just a way of getting extra money. The site I booked through didn’t give me the option to say I was disabled, so I think these...

"It was in a lovely location, must be stunning in the summer. Breakfast was amazing! Allowed two dogs which was great. Only negative is our room was above the bar and Friday night was very noisy until the early hours, and no hairdryer in room. "

"Lovely old country inn, dont expect marriot type modern corporate sterility. What you do get is an old world building with warts and all, fabulous character brilliant welcome and a refreshing can do attitude from all of the staff. We were attending a wedding innthe village and had a really great stay here. Highly recommend for comfort, charm,and welcoming staff. Brilliant."

"Delightful Tudor pub with 7 bedrooms in a quiet village. Tis was a perfect stopover and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast in the main pub area in the morning. Will definitely come back and recommend."

"What a lovely place! The room was surprisingly large with a more than spacious bathroom and both really clean. The adjoining pub/ restaurant had a really good atmosphere with a good range of beers. Staff were really nice friendly willing to help out wherever they can. I strongly recommend booking a table as from what I could see the place is very popular and you do t want to miss out on trying the food! "
