"This is a really nice and clean hotel. Our initial room smelled like cigarettes and the staff checked it out. They then upgraded us to another room with ocean view as an apology. Very kind staff. They do speak English. The bathhouse (onsen) is great. Many options and clean. It is right next to the ocean too! "

Well thoughts for stayer with great hotel’s massage with reasonable price, country side vibe onsen, free ramen from 10pm (unsure if applies to all). I am not going to think of other stays in Hakodate, but here!"

"Great location right across the station. I really thought it'd be your standard business hotel but they were so much more. Abundance of amenities provided, you'd be set even if you only came with the clothes on your back. The staff were so hospitable. The hotel offers Western and Japanese style rooms, which I think is lovely. Western beds were firm but comfortable.There's a ramen shop attached in the main floor, unfortunately they were sold out and closed early the night I was there. However, I don't know whether I was just super hungry, but the breakfast buffet was absolutely divine the next morning. The cook staff were so kind too. Quality over quantity for sure, but everything was so delicious. Definitely the best breakfast I had at a hotel for my whole two-week stay in Japan. "
