"Was very nice Hostel and it was good because near to the Annemasse station 25- 30 min very easy to go to Geneva I enjoyed my holiday for that. Also, people are working in the hostel was very nice and helpful. "

"Good place to stay, love the reception staff, all super nice and speak different languages. There was some working around the hotel, but they did their best to accommodate our request for a quiet room, even letting us enter the room before check-in time. "Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. Worst thing was that it’s right on top of railway lines and from about 5am onwards you hear a loud alarm going off (to warn of an oncoming train) followed by the thunderous noise of the train going past "

"We had a pleasant two night stay at Auberge des Grands Bois. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. "While proximity to the train station and Geneva is desirable, I would not recommend staying at this accommodation. The listing deceitful and way to expensive for what it is. Walls are paper thin, no security or people at the check in counter, bed is horribly uncomfortable. We had to beg for soap and toilet paper. Not a suitable accommodation "

"It was off-season so hardly anyone was there. My room was terrific with a mini-sauna on the deck. Staff was very friendly. Easy walk into town with the plenty of dining options (during the season that is). A very nice place and a great stay. "

"You get what you pay for, don’t expect more or less"

"Be careful booking this location the room and resort were great but our building was under separate ownership which meant it was fully self catered the there were no towels no sheets for the beds only the duvet and pillows which were stained and not pleasant to sleep on. We found a cockroach in one of the kitchen appliances and there was no way of getting service from reception as they had nothing to do with the building/room. Be careful staying here "

"My second time staying in Flaine in consecutive years. This is not what I'd class as a hotel but private apartments that are used for tourism during the ski season. "This is a really well-managed hotel/apartment. The apartment is super spacious, beds are super comfortable, balcony huge, and cupboards are well stocked with crockery and essentials, if you decide to prepare small meals/snacks. Unique modern style hotel in a fantastic location

"Room - We stayed in the 'Lovely Room' for 4 nights which was actually quite spacious. It had a hairdyer, great toiletries, big TV with chromecast, small desk, speaker and an amp for a guitar! The slight quirks/issues was there was no storage space except for the small wardrobe. There is room for shelves/drawers underneath the main shelf so would be helpful if they added this. The room was unusually warm for January, the air con wasn't great but could at least open a window. The shower is a glass cube with an outside curtain for privacy - was fine for us but might not be everyone's cup of tea! There is a galley on each floor with an iron and where you can get tea, coffee and water which is great although the tap takes a bit of getting use to. The breakfast is really good with great choice and allergens are labelled. The staff are really friendly and the bar area and cocktails are great! If you forgo room cleaning the you get a free drink voucher for the bar which is great. The best part about this hotel is the location, right in the heart of the old town area and as within a shopping complex, its generally quite quiet. Only 10-15min walk from the station. Great hotel for the price! "

"Excellent staff - they managed an early check in for us which was very much appreciated with jet lag. Very clean hotel , nice large room Comfortable bed , great water pressure in the showers , robes etc and welcome swiss chocolate ! The soundproofing wasn’t the greatest - could hear traffic and other noise - which was ok at night because it was quiet- but tough to get a nap in the day to beat the jet lag. "
